After failing to assassinate Lurichiyo, Hanza secives weapons similar to Saiga from Kumoi and leads three subordinates to target Lurichiyo, Ichigo, and their friends. In Karakura Town, Lurichiyo reveals that Kenryuu and Enryuu often take the blame for her reckless behavior. Upon sensing Hanza’s arrival, Ichigo and Rukia remain to defend Lurichiyo, while Uryuu Ishida and Yasutora "Chad" Sado move to engage the attackers. The conflict escalates as Hanza battles Ichigo directly, while Rukia, Uryuu, and Chad each confront one of Hanza’s subordinates individually. This event occurs during the New Captain Shuusuke Amagai arc, specifically episode 8 of 22.
