Ignoring Kira’s orders, third division members pursue Kibune to engage the enemies. Due to poor coordination, various squads fail to reach the hollows effectively. Amagai assumes command, organizing the units to successfully destroy the threats. Meanwhile, Genryuusai Shigekuni Yamamoto, captain of the first division, discloses that he orchestrated the incident to evaluate Amagai. Consequently, he approves the previously denied joint training initiative.
