Neliel completes her release, becoming a white centaur to overwhelm Nnoitra. Simultaneously, Pesche and Dondochakka engage Szayel Aporro using cero sincrético, a fused cero blast. Szayel Aporro nullifies this attack, revealing he had already analyzed their spiritual energy. As Neliel attempts to finish Nnoitra, she reverts to her child form. Ichigo tries to assist Nel, prompting Nnoitra to allow Tesla to fight him. Tesla releases his zanpakutou and begins torturing the exhausted Ichigo. Before Tesla can deliver the final blow, Soul Reaper captain Kenpachi Zaraki intervenes to stop him. This confrontation occurs during the Arrancar vs. Shinigami arc, specifically episode 6 of 14.
