Ep. 258: Renji and Zabimaru's Two Halves Encounter Human Siblings and a Boomerang Sword Beast

Renji and Zabimaru arrive in the human world, where the Zanpakuto splits into Saru and Hebi to search separately. Hebi encounters Karin and Yuzu Kurosaki, with only Karin able to see him, and they take him home. Later, Hebi meets Ichigo Kurosaki, who is a Substitute Soul Reaper, but flees after running into a boomerang sword beast. The beast captures Karin, who had been following Hebi. Renji and Saru arrive to rescue Hebi and defeat the enemy. Ichigo takes Karin home, convincing her the events were a dream despite her knowledge of the truth. Having resolved his internal conflicts, Hebi reunites with Renji and Saru, and they return to the Soul Society together.
