Ep. 259: The group investigates thefts and battles a tentacle sword beast in the sewers

Ikkaku, Hanatarou Yamada, Nanao Ise, and Houzukimaru investigate thefts and track the culprit to the sewers. A large monster attacks, injuring Ikkaku. The team discovers a white robot holding the stolen items. The monster, identified as a tentacle sword beast, attacks again. The robot heals Ikkaku and destroys the beast with a powerful blast. It is revealed that the robot is Hanatarou's zanpakutou, Hisagomaru, which resisted Muramasa's control because it did not resent Hanatarou. The group returns the stolen items, but Hisagomaru remains separated from them. This event occurs during the Beast Swords arc.
