Yumichika reveals Seizo was once a formidable warrior who lost his status after taking a fatal blow to save Ikkaku during a Hollow hunt, leaving him with depleted spiritual energy. Ichigo encourages Seizo to regain his confidence. Empowered, Seizo fights alongside Ikkaku to defeat a group of Hollows. Following this victory, Seizo departs the Thirteen Court Guard Squads, with Ikkaku and the entire Eleventh Division bowing to him in renewed respect.
