Kon screams from Ichigo’s room as a woman asks for directions. While in Ichigo’s body, Kon spots her on a bridge and attempts to stop her from jumping, but falls instead. The woman, Haruko, reveals she sees spirits, causing her boyfriend Ken to leave her. Ichigo learns of a soul-sucking hollow. A tapeworm hollow attacks Haruko, but Kon saves her. Ken apologizes, unaware the hollow has possessed him. The hollow then possesses Haruko, forcing Kon to fight her and extract it. Ichigo saves Kon’s pill form and destroys the hollow. Haruko mistakes Ichigo for Kon and pursues him, but Rukia erases their memories. Haruko and Ken reconcile, unaware of the events.
