Ep. 312: Oomaeda Pretends to Be Captain While Saving Ryuzaburo from Hollow
Oomaeda oversleeps, falls off a cliff, and saves Ryuzaburo from a hollow. The boy invites him to his village, where Oomaeda claims to be the Second Division Captain. After apologizing to Soi Fon, he receives cleaning punishment. Ichigo and Yoruichi bring Ryuzaburo and two friends to the Seireitei to meet the captain. Oomaeda asks them to support the lie, which they reluctantly agree to. Ikkaku Madarame and Yumichika Ayasegawa join the charade for money, followed by Rangiku. Soi Fon also participates after persuasion. The boys overhear Ikkaku and Yumichika stating Oomaeda would never become a captain. Ryuzaburo runs home, encounters the hollow again, and is saved by Oomaeda. The boys return to their village, and Soi Fon beats Oomaeda for the insult.
