Ep. 331: Nozomi Awakens Her Zanpakuto While the Gotei 13 Fakes Infiltrate the Human World

Nozomi regains her Soul Reaper powers but lacks memory of her zanpakuto’s name and strength. Ichigo, Rukia, Uryuu, and Chad assist her in awakening her dormant abilities through rigorous training similar to Ichigo’s own experience. Simultaneously, Inaba dispatches fake versions of Byakuya, Hitsugaya, Kenpachi, and Komamura to infiltrate the human world. Urahara traps these impostors in the Dangai, separating them. Ikkaku engages Kenpachi’s reigai while other lieutenants handle the remaining fakes to buy time. Following Yumichika’s advice, Ichigo strikes Nozomi with a Getsuga Tenshou, prompting her to recall her zanpakuto’s name, Arazome Shigure. This power appears to absorb Ichigo’s spiritual pressure. As Ikkaku faces defeat, Nozomi arrives and seemingly destroys Kenpachi’s reigai with her newly awakened abilities.
