Ichigo discards his substitute badge in a river, intending to move past his past. Orihime Inoue informs him that Uryuu is hospitalized, leading Ichigo to the hospital where Ryuuken Ishida dismisses him. Ryuuken reveals to Orihime that the attacker was a powered human and warns her of the danger. The following day, Keigo Asano and Mizuiro Kojima are assaulted by a thief Ichigo had previously apprehended. Ichigo intervenes to save them and encounters Uryuu’s attacker, who escapes upon Ryuuken’s arrival. Recognizing his exclusion from critical information due to his lack of powers, Ichigo resolves to reach out to Xcution.
