After contacting Ginjou, Ichigo is taken to the Xcution headquarters where he discovers that members possess Fullbring, a power enabling manipulation of inanimate object souls. This ability stems from residual spiritual energy left by hollows that attacked their pregnant mothers. Yasutora "Chad" Sado, previously missing, unexpectedly appears at the base, surprising Ichigo. Ginjou explains that Xcution intends to restore Ichigo's Soul Reaper powers so they can eliminate their own Fullbring abilities. Ichigo refuses this offer, clarifying that his only goal is to uncover information his family and friends have been hiding from him. This event occurs during the Lost Substitute Shinigami arc on 4/23.
