Yoji Suganuma, pressured by his father to improve his life, spends his free time with Rie, a girlfriend from a computer dating game. He develops an attraction to a new female coworker at his part-time restaurant job. Using an aromatherapy drug called Type-S, he attempts to control her in the same manner as Rie. The drug, designed to enslave its users, causes him to become addicted. As the boundary between fiction and reality blurs, he descends into confusion and insanity. His subsequent arrest in the street is observed by Misuzu and Yoko.
