Ep. 8: Nagi Kirima Pursues the Manticore While Encountering Ichiro Kishida and Boogiepop Phantom

Nagi Kirima mistakes Ichiro Kishida for her first love, Shinpei Kuroda, as he follows her during her hunt for the Manticore, a flesh-eating shape-shifter. They encounter Echoes, who resembles Boogiepop Phantom, before facing the Manticore disguised as Saotome Masami. Nagi attacks the creature, but Boogiepop Phantom intervenes and nearly destroys it. Boogiepop then reveals his responsibility for recent disappearances, claiming these actions are necessary for the greater good.
