Ep. 44: Shikadai's Doubts

Metal is injured during a Byakuya gang attack, leaving Boruto conflicted about their methods but unable to act as Genin are prohibited from fighting. Shikadai encounters Ryogi, a gang member who was once his friend, and they play shogi in the Hidden Leaf Village. Temari Nara ambushes Ryogi and joins forces with Boruto and her son to stop the gang. Despite their combined efforts, the group fails to halt the criminals. This segment is identified as part of the Byakuya Gang Arc, specifically the second installment out of five.
