After their vacation, Rio feels sad because she has not found love. Maya shares a story about visiting her former master, Hokkaido, who was a bodyguard, bounty hunter, and mercenary. He saved young Maya from a battlefield and taught her to shoot. During this time, an old enemy named Dill Bill warned Hokkaido and sent mercenaries to kill him. Hokkaido and Maya defeated the attackers, but Hokkaido was fatally injured and asked Maya to end his life. Maya claims she later hunted down and killed Dill Bill and his men. However, she then scolds Rio and Lilica for taking her story seriously.
