Kanade feels guilty that Yukino works part-time for her benefit and lonely due to their reduced time together. Shizuku unexpectedly arrives at their apartment and stays overnight. Both Sakuya and Shizuku advise Kanade to apologize to Yukino. Kanade meets Yukino to apologize, proposing she take a short-term course instead of a full-term one, and they promise to remain together forever. Yukino asks Kanade to remove cream from her mouth. Kanade unexpectedly uses her lips to clean the cream, surprising Yukino. The two then confess their love for each other, resolving their emotional distance through this intimate gesture and renewed commitment.
