Ep. 9: The Cardfight Club Elects Its Vice-Captain Through Intense Dueling

Following the club's official recognition, faculty advisor Nakamurabashi orders the selection of a captain and vice-captain. Aichi accepts the captain role, leaving the vice-captain position open. While Shingo initially desires the post, others remain indifferent until Misaki and Kourin are persuaded by friends Akari Yotsue and Takuto to compete. The next day, four candidates raise their hands: Shingo, Naoki, Misaki, and Kourin. They agree to determine the winner through a series of cardfights. Misaki defeats Shingo, and Kourin defeats Naoki. Naoki briefly laments his lack of initial enthusiasm for the role but recovers with a smile. Observing his renewed passion, Misaki, Kourin, and Shingo agree to appoint Naoki as the new vice-captain. The group concludes the day by running to a riverside, where the boys scuffle briefly before shouting together at the sunset.
