Miyaji Academy’s unofficial Cardfight Club, comprising Kai, Miwa, Morikawa, and Izaki, competes against Hitsue High’s Vanguard Club in a best-of-5 series. Under conditions set by Naito, a loss results in the club’s dissolution. In the opening game, Naoki challenges Kai, both utilizing Eradicator-themed Narukami decks. Naoki employs Break Rides and Limit Breaks with Eradicator, Vowing Sword Dragon and Eradicator, Gauntlet Buster Dragon to retire Kai’s units and increase critical value. Kai survives the assault and counters with a combo involving Vowing Sword and Eradicator, Dragonic Descendant. After Naoki blocks the initial attack, Kai activates Descendant’s Limit Break to stand it, gain another critical, and strike again. Naoki cannot defend, losing the game and giving Hitsue High a 1-0 lead. Kourin is selected next to face Izaki, leaving Morikawa envious.
