Ep. 9: Ibara and Haruto devise a rail diversion to evacuate survivors while Kanon and Shion pursue them.
With radiation reaching the Planet in two to three days, Ibara and Haruto plan to use the broken city rail system to transport survivors to safety. Anticipating that Kanon and Shion will pursue them due to Kanon’s tracking abilities, Ibara splits the group into two teams. She leads one team as a diversion while the other repairs the railway power. Meanwhile, Ibuki suffers from labor pains, and Taeko fears delivering the baby until Granny Ayame contacts her via radio to offer assistance. As the Coppelions and survivors prepare to leave the dome, Aoi emerges thanks to No-sense. Before departing, Ibuki requests the rescue of the baby’s father, identified as the First Division soldier who aided Aoi. Ibara and Haruto depart with Aoi and No-sense to distract the pursuers, while Taeko, Ibuki, Gennai, Oyakata, and Gojiro proceed to the railway.
