Masae attempts to frighten Misae using a mask, but Shin-chan reverses the roles by scaring her in return. Due to the cold weather, Shin-chan and his friends decline to play outside. The principal tries to stay warm by rubbing his body with a dry towel, yet he still catches a cold. Misae leaves to purchase medicine for Shin-chan’s cold and cough. Upon her return, Shin-chan recovers, while Misae falls ill instead.
