Ep. 25: Light’s Silent Victory After Rem Eliminates L and Watari

L questions Rem regarding Death Notes, but she withholds details to protect Light and Misa. Misa starts using her notebook to execute criminals, prompting Light to deny her involvement while L grows suspicious. Rem recognizes that Light intentionally endangered Misa to force her sacrifice. Later, L discusses his isolation and the prevalence of lies with Light on the headquarters roof. He announces plans to test the thirteen day rule, which currently protects Misa. Before the test occurs, Rem kills Watari and L, sacrificing herself. Light secretly retrieves Rem’s notebook and celebrates his triumph in silence.
