Ep. 7: Light deceives Naomi Misora into suicide while Penber's fiancée remains hidden

Light writes Maki in the Death Note, but when nothing occurs, he suspects Penber’s fiancée uses an alias. Ryuk urges Light to obtain the shinigami eyes, yet Light instead tricks Naomi Misora by feigning allegiance to L. He reveals his identity as Kira and watches her commit suicide, mocking her with threats to contact his father. Meanwhile, Watari discloses his true role to Light’s father and other investigators, distributing special gadgets embedded in clothing for protection against Kira. Detective Shuichi Aizawa arrives at the police headquarters on L’s orders but fails to encounter Penber’s fiancée in time.
