Ep. 11: Kira's New Method and Light's Strategic Decision to Join the Investigation

The Kira investigation team discusses Naomi Misora's disappearance when Watari interrupts to report that Sakura TV is broadcasting an audio tape allegedly from Kira. L orders the broadcast halted to prevent public support for the killer. Hirokazu Ukita rushes to the station but dies mysteriously, leading the team to realize Kira no longer needs names to kill. Light, watching from his room, decides to join the investigation to gather intelligence on L and a second Kira who has accepted the shinigami eye deal. Meanwhile, L suspects the broadcaster is a different Kira than the one they are pursuing.
