This obsession causes him to neglect his business and his son. Masaru, moved by the boy's situation, attempts to reason with the father. However, he remains unaware that the man's behavior is being manipulated by Evilmon and his DemiDevimon subordinates, who are orchestrating the situation behind the scenes.
