Lyar dives into the core to save Misaki from the Necromancer army. Bernard returns with legal immunity, leading to Misaki’s release. Lyar expands the pilot program to include three cadets. LeBlanc confronts Bernard, who reveals Alchemy’s plan to continue the Kessler Project, prompting LeBlanc to shoot him. He then tests Misaki by showing her a ship of corpses and a Ghoul in stasis. Misaki communicates with the Ghoul and feels her father’s call. Despite Lyar’s protests, LeBlanc wipes Misaki’s memory of the event to maintain secrecy.
