Ep. 29: Goku rescues Nam and destroys a dam to restore water to the village

Master Roshi advises Goku and Krillin to pause their training, yet Krillin chooses to reside with him. Goku departs to locate the four-star Dragon Ball. Nam brings water to his village, but the river remains dry, prompting him to investigate upstream. After a dinosaur attack, Goku saves Nam from a nearby lake. They discover a dam built by monsters who refuse to dismantle it. Their leader, Giran, recognizes Goku from the tournament and admits the structure is too strong for them. Goku uses a Kamehameha wave to destroy the dam. Although the river refills, a sandstorm dries it again. Goku realizes the lake he swam in is the Roaming Lake, which arrived to assist the village.
