Ep. 31: Pilaf's scheme unfolds as Goku and Chi Chi prepare for their wedding while the Red Ribbon Army attacks.
Emperor Pilaf provides Goku with a counterfeit four-star Dragon Ball, which Goku accidentally drops. Meanwhile, the bird holding the six-star ball was consumed by a larger bird, which was subsequently captured by the Ox King. Believing Goku is arriving for their marriage, the Ox King prepares a wedding feast using the bird. Pilaf’s radar detects the signal from the Ox King’s village, prompting Shu to disguise himself as Goku to steal the ball. Goku follows his own radar and encounters Chi Chi picking flowers. During the feast, the Red Ribbon Army attacks the village after tracking the six-star ball’s signal, capturing the Ox King. Pilaf retrieves the Dragon Ball from the bird and escapes in his ship. Goku and Chi Chi observe smoke rising from the village and head to investigate the disturbance.
