Ep. 11: Goku Arrives Late as Saiyans Reveal Their Dragon Ball Plans

The battle against the Saiyans resumes after Goku misses the three-hour deadline. He eventually reaches the end of Snake Way, is teleported to Earth by Kami, and flies to the fight on the Nimbus Cloud. Vegeta detects his arrival and superior power level, ordering Nappa to eliminate the remaining Z Fighters, including Piccolo. The Saiyans explain they came to Earth to seize the Dragon Balls, information gained from monitoring Raditz. They plan to later use the Namekian Dragon Balls on Planet Namek to wish for immortality. When Gohan attacks Nappa, the enraged Saiyan fires a ki blast at him. Piccolo leaps in front of Gohan at the last second to shield him from the attack.
