Ep. 13: Goku Uses Kaio-Ken Against Vegeta After Nappa's Death

Nappa attempts to target Gohan and Krillin but is disabled by Goku’s new Kaio-ken technique. Vegeta then executes his partner with a ki blast before challenging Goku. Goku sends his friends away to fight undistracted, leading to a clash between the two Saiyans. Vegeta proves significantly stronger than Nappa, forcing Goku to realize that the two-times Kaio-ken is insufficient. To overcome this power gap, Goku breaks his promise to King Kai and risks his life by activating the three-times Kaio-ken.
