Goku activates the three-times Kaio-ken to match Vegeta’s power, leading to a clash between the Galick Gun and Kamehameha. After switching to the four-times Kaio-ken, Goku defeats Vegeta, sending him into space. Seeking a Great Ape transformation to boost his strength, Vegeta creates a fake moon to absorb Blutz Waves. This ritual multiplies his power level by 10 times. Sensing the massive increase in energy, Krillin and Gohan decide to return to assist Goku in the ongoing battle.
