Vegeta fights Recoome of the Ginyu Force but sustains severe injuries without causing harm to the enemy. Gohan and Krillin intervene but are quickly overpowered by the same opponent. Meanwhile, Frieza fails to activate the Dragon Balls and leaves Ginyu to guard them while he searches for Namekians to learn how to wish for immortality. With Vegeta, Gohan, and Krillin seemingly defeated, Goku’s Capsule Corporation ship finally arrives on Planet Namek.
