Ep. 14: Shigen reveals his role in Celty's head theft while Celty investigates the slasher rumors.
Shigen discovers the Yellow Scarves attacked him before Celty’s rescue and learns she loves Shinra. He admits to sending her head to a pharmaceutical company, angering her. Celty visits Mikado, who is troubled by rumors implicating the Dollars in slasher attacks. Shizuo, frustrated by these rumors, offers to help Celty hunt the culprit. She consults Izaya, who mentions a demonic blade used by the slasher, leading Celty to suspect Shinra is hiding the truth. Shigen confirms his plan to awaken Celty’s head by placing her body in a warlike environment. Masaomi tells Anri he will leave her alone with Mikado. Celty learns from Shinra that his father once owned a sword to separate her head from her body, which was later sold to an antique dealer. Anri returns home after parting with Mikado and Masaomi, ending up at the site where the slasher spared her days ago, only for the attacker to appear behind her and prepare to strike.
