Asakura discloses to Hitomi that Eiji has manipulated the memories of psychics and intends to establish a society composed entirely of them. He also suggests that these memories can be restored. Simultaneously, Eiji demonstrates his superior psychic powers to Kai, pointing out that Kai currently lacks an identity. Later, Kai locates Shen-Long after breaking into the laboratory, but Chigaya attempts to interfere with the encounter.
