Mint and Ranpha are abducted during a mission, prompting kidnappers to demand a substantial ransom. Because Forte and Milfeulle cannot afford the payment, they collaborate with Colonel Volcott to stage a fake kidnapping to generate funds. The military responds by creating their own counterfeit abduction to secure the necessary cash. This deceptive cycle repeats, eventually leading investigators back to the initial abductors. In response, the original kidnappers raise the ransom amount. Forte relays this increased sum to the military, triggering a continuous loop of escalating demands that grows exponentially larger with each iteration, creating a chaotic financial spiral.
