Hougen’s soldiers capture Gin, John, and Reika, subjecting the latter to abuse while announcing his reign. At Gajou, Weed prepares to lead as Jerome assists him, but Akame’s return warns of danger. Weed, Jerome, GB, Ken, and Kagetora depart with troops, leaving others to defend the base. Rocket, a Borzoi leader, joins the Ohu army as a spy, claiming to have fought for Gin. He spreads fear by exaggerating Hougen’s strength and blames a deserter. During training, Rocket witnesses Weed’s mercy when sparing an attacker, earning trust. Meanwhile, Hiro the Great Pyrenees castrates a guard in the Alps. Rocket, displeased with Weed’s kindness, abducts him, prompting Jerome to intervene.
