Ep. 101: Riots in Heinessen and Julian's Decision to Attack Iserlohn

In January of Space Calendar 801, New Imperial Calendar 3, a severe shortage of consumer goods triggers riots across Heinessen, exacerbated by terrorist attacks on the distribution system. Wahlan quells the unrest by distributing military food supplies, while Imperial admirals abandon plans to campaign against Iserlohn due to depleted treasury funds from ongoing expeditions. Meanwhile, on Iserlohn, Julian argues that the instability in Alliance territory presents an ideal opportunity to reclaim lost lands. Despite republican distrust regarding Mecklinger’s passage through the corridor, Julian advocates for immediate action, believing that Reinhard would disdain a cautious successor. Consequently, he resolves to initiate the battle, leveraging the current political climate and his assessment of Imperial leadership expectations to justify the offensive against the Empire.
