Reinhard discovers the conflict between Oberstein and his admirals, which spreads to Heinessen. Oberstein places Bittenfeld under house arrest for assaulting him, sparking street fights between Bittenfeld's forces and the military police. Müller urges Bittenfeld to apologize to Oberstein to reduce violence among Imperial troops. Meanwhile, the Iserlohn group receives news of the unrest on Heinessen. They decide to divide their leadership and accept negotiations on Heinessen for the release of the hostages.
