Ep. 22: Reinhard defeats a skilled assassin after a second duel challenge

Pressured by Sussanna von Beenemünde to protect his pride, an assassin who previously fought Reinhard von Müsel issues a new challenge. Reinhard, also unsatisfied with their prior encounter, agrees to the rematch. With strategic advice from Siegfried Kircheis and keen tactical insight, Reinhard overcomes the more experienced fighter. The defeated assassin, unable to accept his loss, takes his own life. Consequently, Sussanna von Beenemünde’s scheme to eliminate Reinhard fails once again, leaving the plot thwarted without further consequence to the protagonist.
