Ep. 23: Reinhard Pursues Defector Herxheimer in Alliance Space

In December 792 UC, Reinhard von Müsel, captain of the cruiser Hässliche Entlein for six months, receives orders from Imperial Military Intelligence. He must track Count Herxheimer, who is defecting to the Free Planets Alliance via Fezzan after falling out of favor. Herxheimer stole a directional Seffle particle generator prototype before leaving. Reinhard is tasked with apprehending the count and recovering the device to prevent it from reaching Alliance hands. Because the defection details are confidential, Reinhard operates with no overt support from the front lines. He must navigate largely unknown Alliance space using only the Hässliche Entlein to complete this high-stakes mission without external assistance.
