Ep. 40: Alien Infiltrates Edo While Kagura Falls For A Scam

Amidst Edo’s excitement over the film Alien vs. Yakuza, a genuine extraterrestrial enters the city. Kondou receives intelligence from alien hunter Umibouzu, prompting the Shinsengumi to establish a perimeter. Simultaneously, Kagura becomes a victim of an impersonation scam, following instructions from a fraudster posing as Gintoki to visit a bank. The alien is also present at this location. Gintoki and Shinpachi arrive to rescue Kagura, but she is engulfed by the creature and attempts to drag her friends down with her. Just as the situation escalates, Umibouzu makes a sudden appearance, leaving Kagura shocked by his presence.
