Ep. 7: The group reunites after a storm while Kiroranke infiltrates a prison to contact Sofia.

A blizzard separates Sugimoto’s party, forcing them to shelter with dogs near the shore, while Koito, Ogata, and Enonoka find refuge in a farmhouse. The farmer reveals a lighthouse with a Fresnel lens, which guides Sugimoto’s group to safety. Reunited, they prepare to continue north, and Sugimoto offers to search for the farmer’s missing daughter, Svetlana. Enonoka discusses Meko Oyashi rumors with Cikapasi, and Koito jokes about Ogata. Meanwhile, Kiroranke and Asirpa travel further north into Russian territory, passing a Karafuto Ainu village near Nittoi. Kiroranke recounts the story of Sofia, or Sonya Golden Hand, who plotted against Alexander II and is imprisoned in Alexandrovskaya Prison, also known as Ako. Upon reaching the facility, Kiroranke successfully sends a secret message to Sofia to reveal his proximity.
