Ep. 4: Banri and Kōko navigate relationship tensions and memory discoveries after a club retreat.

Linda reunites Banri and Kōko with the Festival Club after a retreat, where they are relieved to see Nijigen, Mitsuo, and Chinami. During a break, Kōko insults Chinami, prompting Mitsuo to leave with her and leaving Banri to comfort Kōko. Later, Linda invites them to dance rehearsals, which Banri joins while Kōko considers it. Mitsuo informs Banri he will end things with Kōko to pursue Chinami, then rejects Kōko’s affection by stating he only sees her as a childhood friend. Kōko angrily tells him to forget their history, then realizes her harsh words hurt Banri and apologizes in tears. Nana invites them to a concert, but Kōko is thrown out and stays at Banri’s apartment. There, Kōko admits she needs him, and Banri confesses his love. She later texts him to remember his past, motivating him to return to Shizuoka, where he finds a high school scrapbook with Linda.
