Ep. 5: Banri seeks memories at the bridge while Koko and Linda navigate their complex social dynamics.

Banri visits the bridge where his accident occurred, hoping to recover lost memories, but fails. The spirit of his eighteen-year-old self explains that the fall separated his spirit and memories from his body, rendering him invisible and inaudible to the present Banri. Back at school, Banri receives a matching mirror from Kōko to celebrate their friendship. The following day, Kōko acts dramatically cheerful around Banri and Mitsuo. Linda, assisting Kōko with class registration, joins them and inquires about the Festival Club. Kōko confirms both boys will join, leaving Banri puzzled by Linda’s silence regarding their past. During dance rehearsal, Kōko cries over her inability to dance. She later apologizes and reveals she is still healing from a breakup with Mitsuo. Banri reassures her and reaffirms their bond with the mirror. That night, Banri recalls sneaking out of the hospital to find Linda, who inspired his move to Tokyo. He questions her silence, while his spirit laments being unable to convey Linda’s importance to his current self.
