Ep. 38: Golgo 13 rescues Sara after Patric's theft leads to Henri Bazaine's murder and a biologists' stolen funds.
Patric steals a wallet from Henri Bazaine on the Paris metro, dropping it to his accomplice Sara near Golgo 13. Bazaine is soon found dead. Patric evades a man he suspects is a detective, who is actually the assassin who killed Bazaine and knows Sara witnessed him. The assassin tracks Sara, but Golgo intervenes, beating the attacker. Patric is captured and beaten for Sara's location because the wallet held a memo. Golgo saves Sara again, then kills the assassin after informing the client, Carnac, of her whereabouts. Carnac arrives at the hotel where Golgo has taken Sara, and Golgo kills him. Carnac had stolen funds from a group of biologists working on a dangerous project. Bazaine was meant to deliver the key memo but was killed for failing to do so. Golgo was hired by the biologists to ensure Carnac's failure.
