Following a poor exam result, Chiguta tasks Yuusuke with tutoring Midori to improve her academic standing. To motivate her, Chiguta promises a reward from Yuusuke if Midori achieves above-average scores. Wakaba misinterprets this promise, leading to a widespread school rumor that excelling on tests grants a reward from one’s crush. Midori strives to meet the threshold but ultimately fails to secure above-average grades. Despite the missed target, Yuusuke honors his commitment and rewards her for her hard work. Midori requests a hug, which accidentally turns into a kiss. This physical contact triggers Yuusuke’s recollection of past memories and his true feelings for her.
