Yuuji returns to his dorm after jogging and finds Amane picking his lock, initially suspecting she is an assassin. He discovers she only intended to surprise him with a kiss before engaging in self-pleasure with his clothes, leading to her embarrassment. Later, Yuuji teases Amane in a song for Makina during class. Amane worries Makina is imitating Yuuji. Yuuji overhears Michiru with a kitten and accidentally agrees to a glittery shark pouch from Sachi, which Michiru helps him give to Makina. During gym, Amane injures her ankle, and Yuuji carries her to the infirmary. She asks him to be her boyfriend, but he refuses. She then requests to be treated as his older sister, which he accepts. The next day, sharing lunch with Amane and Makina, Yuuji realizes he has been isolating himself since his master's death.
