Ep. 5: Michiru faces death after Meowmel's passing, uncovering a diary that reveals her split personality and traumatic past.
Devastated by Meowmel's death, Michiru overdoses and is rescued by Yuuji. Sachi provides a locked box containing an exchange diary between Michiru and her alternate self. Confronted with the truth, Yuuji learns Michiru’s other personality emerged after a heart transplant, while her original self retreated. Yuuji forces the original personality to surface, who expresses a desire to die. He agrees to help, burying her alive in a coffin at a seaside bluff. Trapped, Michiru hallucinates and recalls her middle school depression, her friend’s suicide, and the realization that her transplanted heart belonged to that friend. Emerging from the coffin after three days, Michiru decides she no longer wishes to die. Yuuji carries her back to the dorm and later introduces the alternate personality to her parents, where she continues to reside.
