Confronted with the truth, Yuuji learns Michiru’s other personality emerged after a heart transplant, while her original self retreated. Yuuji forces the original personality to surface, who expresses a desire to die. He agrees to help, burying her alive in a coffin at a seaside bluff. Trapped, Michiru hallucinates and recalls her middle school depression, her friend’s suicide, and the realization that her transplanted heart belonged to that friend. Emerging from the coffin after three days, Michiru decides she no longer wishes to die. Yuuji carries her back to the dorm and later introduces the alternate personality to her parents, where she continues to reside.

Nov 9, 2014Junior high student Yumiko, the daughter of a mistress, is forced to become the heir to the Tohin Railway Group after her brother dies. Her father orders Yuuji to act as her bodyguard and facilitate her abduction to force her return, but Yuuji disobeys and protects her instead. While sheltering from rain under a bridge, Yumiko shares her traumatic past with him. Enraged by this defiance, her father attempts to send her to study in America and shuts down her school. When Yumiko refuses to leave, her father confronts her in person. She shoots him, leading to a standoff. As his men breach the building after her ammunition is exhausted, Yumiko pulls a grenade pin and appears to die. Yuuji had actually helped her fake her death, allowing her to assume a new identity with a falsified family registry and resume her life as a student at the school.
EP 7Sachi attempts to destroy school before test while Yuuji reveals past connection
Nov 16, 2014Sachi faints after misinterpreting Makina's advice, then decides to blow up the school to avoid an upcoming test. Her classmates interrupt her timer setup, but the explosives fail to detonate. Yuuji arrives, having tampered with the timers, and uses the nickname Sacchan to show he remembers her. Flashbacks reveal their childhood friendship at a playground before he moved away. Sachi’s parents died in a car accident on her tenth birthday after she ran away from neglect; her mother remains in a coma. Sachi blames herself and strives to be obedient. Yuuji counters that her childhood selfishness helped him forget his own troubles. He hides the bomb disposal with fireworks, takes her to her parents' shop to find a birthday letter, and ends the day by letting her visit her mother and giving her a hug.
EP 8Makina gives Yuuji seventy million yen to be her father while Sarina survives an explosion
Nov 23, 2014Makina emails Yuuji that he has graduated from Onii-chan status to Papa status. When Yuuji confronts her, she gives him a check for 70 million yen, her entire inheritance, so he will act as her father. He reluctantly agrees and watches over her closely, which makes other girls, especially Amane, envious. Amane jokes that if Yuuji is her father, she could be her mother. At school, Yuuji takes Makina to his old mountain home. Later, Makina sees her younger sister and Irisu heir, Sarina, in town but does not speak to her. Her sister's car explodes shortly after. Makina is shaken and tended to by classmates. When she wakes, Yuuji says Sarina is in the hospital and expected to survive. That evening, JB gives Yuuji a dossier for his next job, revealing the target is Makina.

With the contractor eliminated and evidence secured, Yuuji and the recovering Makina return to the Academy.

EP 11Survivors endure starvation and despair after their teacher abandons them with stolen food
Dec 14, 2014Following a crash, survivors struggle to survive while Kazuki tends to the injured. As time passes, they bury their dead and scavenge for scarce food. Their teacher scouts the area, takes half the supplies, and promises to return with help. When he fails to come back after a couple of days, despair takes hold. Malnourished, some of the girls begin to act strangely. Eventually, the pet dog of one of the girls dies and is butchered to provide sustenance for the remaining survivors.
EP 12Kazuki sacrifices herself while Amane faces survivor guilt and Yuuji's demand to live
Dec 21, 2014Two weeks pass with no rescue, causing injured girls to die. Sensei returns without aid, claiming to have hunted a deer. Kazuki suspects the meat was something else and flees with Amane. She reveals the survivors are mad or complicit. Kazuki stays behind as a decoy, allowing Amane to escape. Hailed as a miracle survivor, Amane faces intense scrutiny. Haunted by nightmares and public pressure, she believes she must be punished for living. She identifies Yuuji as the one with the right to punish her and asks him to kill her. Instead, Yuuji asks her to live for his sake. He hopes that by accepting her despite her past, she will eventually come to forgive herself.
EP 13Yuuji and Amane investigate a note while a hostage crisis unfolds at the Academy.
Dec 28, 2014Yuuji accompanies Amane to an accident site to help her find closure. Along the way, a man claiming to be her biggest fan stops them. After paying respects to deceased friends, Amane shows Yuuji a note found at a location on a map provided by Kazuki, suggesting he is alive. Meanwhile, the man infiltrates the Academy and takes several girls hostage, demanding Amane. Upon returning home, Amane prepares to surrender. Yuuji, monitoring the school via cell phone, devises a plan to resolve the standoff. The hostage taker is revealed to be Chiaki Sakashita’s father, who blames Amane for his daughter’s death. He moves Amane to a washroom for assault. Yuuji snipes him through a 10 cm gap from over 900 m away, ending the crisis. One year later, an unidentified boat enters Japanese waters, with one passenger firing a rocket at Coast Guard forces while the other opens a music box.
