Ep. 12: Shu Recovers Memories of Mana and Gai During the Second Lost Christmas Crisis

Shuichiro reveals Ruppongi Fort is a Void created by Mana Oma, releasing Segai after the GHQ coup. Daath Gravekeeper helps Shu regain memories of his childhood in Oshima with sister Mana and best friend Gai Tsutsugami. Shuichiro plans to use Inori as a vessel for Mana’s soul to trigger the second Lost Christmas and create a new race. Flashbacks show Mana’s infection by the Apocalypse Virus and her suicide after tricking Gai. In the present, Gai and Ayase’s Steiner intervene. Gai asks Shu to pierce Mana’s pod with Inori’s sword, allowing him to die with her. Shu and Inori survive the crumbling tower, mourning Gai’s sacrifice.
