Ep. 13: Tennouzu High Festival and Shuichiro’s Shocking Return Announcement

Two weeks after the outbreak, GHQ aids Tokyo survivors while teenage refugees settle at Tennouzu High shelter. Shu, Inori, Tsugumi, and Ayase remain there after failing to locate other Funeral Parlor members. Ayase grieves Gai’s death and blames Shu and Tsugumi for stopping her from fighting to protect him. To ease tensions, the Student Council organizes a school festival. Shu discovers his powers now allow him to extract Voids without unconsciousness. Meanwhile, Segai controls Anti Bodies and sends Daryl to spy. Disgruntled refugees, armed with a Humvee and Endlave provided by Segai, attack the school. During the assault, Ayase expresses frustration over her paralysis and inability to help. Shu extracts her Void, the Paraplegic's Shoes, granting her leg braces that enable rapid skating and powerful jumps. Together, they repel the attackers. Inori then performs on stage. Shortly after, Souta broadcasts a TV signal revealing Shuichiro is alive and leading the Japanese provincial government. He announces that Loop 7, including the school, will be sealed for ten years under the false claim that no survivors remain.
